Halse, Havemann and Lloyd has been practicing since 1967 and has firmly established itself as one of the leading firms in Kwazulu- Natal and Gauteng.
The firm’s impeccable reputation and commitment to service is well known and respected amongst clients and colleagues in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. The firm is best known for its conveyancing department which has provided and continues to provide excellent services in the registration of property transfers and mortgage- and notarial bonds other conveyancing transactions and in property law, including specialist expertise in drafting property related agreements, advising thereon and ancillary property law subjects.

AMY GOVENDER
Senior Partner
Amethyst graduated from the University of Kwazulu-Natal with her LLB degree in 2008. She served articles during 2009-2011 whereupon she was admitted as an attorney. She was admitted as a conveyancer in 2013. She joined Halse Havemann & Lloyd in 2017 as the Head of Conveyancing and Deceased Estates. She became senior partner in 2019. She specializes in Estate Planning, Deceased Estates and Conveyancing. She is passionate about people and is motivated by her will to help others which includes her clients, staff and colleagues.
PAUL STEFANUS ROBBERTSE
Partner
He was employed as a State Prosecutor at the Durban Magistrate’s Court and joined the firm in 1980 when he served Articles of Clerkship, was thereafter appointed as a Professional Assistant and ultimately became a Partner. In 1989 he left the firm to practice in Gauteng and re-joined the firm in 2004 as partner. He is based at Randburg and specializes in sequestrations, rehabilitations, commercial law, High Court litigation and conveyancing.
